A man and woman were seriously hurt in a stabbing attack in Regina on Thursday.
According to police, officers were called to the 1600 block of 11th Avenue at around 9:15 a.m. after getting a report saying two people had been stabbed.

“Police arrived on scene and located two victims, an adult male and adult female,” the police force said in a statement.
“Both were suffering from stab wounds and were transported to hospital by EMS to be treated for, what appeared to be serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.”
Police said the suspected attacker, a 23-year-old woman, was found a few blocks away and arrested. She’s now facing two charges of assault with a weapon, along with an additional charge of failing to comply with conditions of a probation order.
Man charged with forcible confinement
A 30-year-old Regina man is facing charges including assault with a weapon and forcible confinement after allegedly threatening the occupant of a home on Robinson Street with a knife on Friday evening.
According to police, officers were called to the home shortly before 6 p.m.
“Initial information indicated an unknown male had approached a residence seeking help before entering the home and threatening the occupant with a knife,” the police force said in a statement.
“Officers attended the scene and safely took the suspect into custody. The victim was not physically injured.”
Police said the man is also facing charges of breaking and entering to commit an offence, obstructing a peace officer and failing to comply with conditions of a release order.
He appeared in court on Monday morning.
