The City of Saskatoon said both the bridge and College Drive at Clarence Avenue have been scheduled to reopen “during the week of June 29,” though no specific date was provided.

The bridge has been closed to non-emergency traffic since April 6 to allow for drive surface refinishing and arch repair work to be completed.
“The College Drive work is proceeding on budget but has experienced early-stage delays due to weather, utility relocations and the unexpected discovery and removal of legacy underground infrastructure, including former building foundations, basements and historic trolley rails within the roadway,” the city said in a statement.
“Drivers are asked to follow posted detours and use caution when travelling near construction zones.”
