RCMP officers from the Shellbrook detachment, along with the Major Crimes Unit, are investigating a suspicious death in the community of Mistawasis First Nation.
Officers were called at about 6:20 p.m. on June 4 after a report of a dead man in a rural area on the First Nation.
Anyone who saw suspicious activity or suspicious people in Mistawasis First Nation or Shellbrook between the evening of June 1 and the evening of June 4 is asked to call 310-RCMP.
The Saskatchewan Coroners Service is also investigating and working to identify the dead man.

Investigators advise there will be an increased police presence near the Mistawasis First Nation and Shellbrook area for an undetermined amount of time.
