SaskPower says repairs have been completed after a major power outage hit the east side of Saskatoon early on Tuesday afternoon, leaving residents in many neighbourhoods without electrical service.
In a statement SaskPower said the outage was caused on the SaskPower system, which then caused an outage for Saskatoon Light and Power.
“Apparently a construction worker contacted an overhead SaskPower transmission line,” the release said.
There were no reported injuries.
