Visitors to the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park & Zoo will have a couple of new attractions to enjoy on Monday.
The Prairie Butterfly House will open to the public that day, along with the Kinsmen Express II trackless train, which offers free, guided tours of the zoo.

The butterfly house will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. starting on Monday, with access included along with admission.
“Butterflies fly freely around the Prairie Butterfly House allowing visitors to fully immerse themselves in nature and experience the beauty and tranquility that the space offers,” the City of Saskatoon said in a statement.

“The zoo reminds guests to maintain a safe space for the butterflies by not handling or removing butterflies or plants from the habitat.”
Tours of the zoo on the Kinsmen Express II are available every day from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. until the end of its season on Sept. 7. The train is equipped with a wheelchair ramp and an accessible car, the city noted, allowing everyone to enjoy the experience.
The zoo is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
