A long weekend has resulted in a long list of incidents being shared by Saskatoon police.
Police say a family of seven was allegedly attacked by a person with bear spray early on Tuesday morning.
According to police, officers were called to a home on Delaronde Terrace at around 2:20 a.m.

“The seven occupants reported that someone had broken a window and deployed bear spray into the house,” the police force said in a statement.
“No one was injured.”
Man arrested after allegedly deploying bear spray in Midtown mall
Police said a 24-year-old man was arrested on Saturday afternoon after allegedly deploying bear spray inside Midtown mall on First Avenue South.
Officers were called to the mall shortly after 3 p.m. where they found two people matching descriptions of the suspects. One of them, a 24-year-old man, was allegedly concealing a can of bear spray in his pocket.
Police said the man tried to run, “but was quickly arrested.” He’s now facing charges of carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a dangerous weapon and obstruction.
Man injured with BB gun, bear spray
Police said officers were called to an apartment on Confederation Drive at around 9 a.m. on Sunday after getting a report that bear spray and a BB gun had been discharged into an apartment, leaving a male victim with injuries.
Taxi driver allegedly shot with BB gun
In a second incident involving a BB gun, police said a taxi driver was shot with a BB gun after a rider refused to pay a fare and was asked to get out of the cab.
According to police, officers were called to a parking lot on 33rd Street West shortly before 8 p.m. on Monday where they spoke with the 51-year-old driver.
The victim was taken to hospital for treatment of injuries that were not believed to be life threatening, police said.
Man facing charges after cops allegedly find sawed-off shotgun
A 33-year-old man is facing charges after police allegedly found him with a sawed-off shotgun at a Saskatoon hotel on Saturday night.
According to police, officers were called to a bar on Idylwyld Drive North after getting a report of a man inside carrying a gun in his waistband. Police said the man was tracked to a nearby hotel, where he was arrested, along with a 26-year-old woman.
Police said the man is now facing six firearm charges, along with a charge of breach of probation, while the woman was charged with two counts of breaching court-ordered conditions.
Fight in parking lot ends with gun charges
An 18-year-old man is facing gun charges after police located a sawed-off shotgun while responding to a report about a fight on Sunday afternoon.
Police said officers were called to a parking lot on Laurier Drive just after 5 p.m. for a report of a fight involving several people.
“Upon police arrival, two males were located in possession of a sawed-off shotgun,” the police force said in a statement.
“A third female fled on foot but was located and arrested a short time later in possession of spent ammunition. No one was injured in this incident, and all parties are known to each other.”
The 18-year-old man is now facing a list of firearm-related charges, police said, while the second male suspect was found to be breaching court-imposed conditions. The female suspect was released without charges.
Robbery with handle of firearm ‘not successful’
Police said officers were called to a restaurant on 33rd Street West at around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday for a report of a robbery in progress.
“Upon arrival, police learned two males entered the restaurant and demanded cash while brandishing a knife and what appeared to be the handle of a firearm,” the police force said in a statement.
“They were not successful and were last seen running eastbound on 33rd Street.”
Man hospitalized after robbers steal cash, cell phone
A 38-year-old man was taken to hospital on Monday afternoon after he was injured during a robbery.
According to police, officers were called to a parking lot on 22nd Street West shortly before 4 p.m., where they found the injured victim.
“The suspects fled prior to police arriving,” the police force said.
Cell phone, sweater and hat stolen at gunpoint
Police said a victim was approached by a male suspect armed with a sawed-off shotgun on Avenue R South at around 5 p.m. on Monday.
“The males entered a residence where the victim was robbed of his cell phone, sweater, and hat,” police said. “The victim fled the residence uninjured.”
Three people charged for allegedly evading police
Over the weekend, police are reporting two separate incidents of people evading officers that led to charges laid against three people.
The first incident happened around 8:15 p.m. on May 15. Officers saw a grey Toyota Corolla known to be stolen at the the 19th Street West and Avenue T South intersection.
“When officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop, the vehicle fled at a high rate of speed before striking another vehicle at the intersection of 22nd Street West and Avenue K North. The suspect vehicle rolled onto its roof.”
Police said in the release that the two people inside – a 17-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man – were arrested. Both are facing a charge of possession of stolen property over $5,000. The woman is also facing charges of dangerous driving and evading police.
On May 18, around 4:15 p.m., officers on patrol tried to stop a grey Chrysler Pacifica in the 400 block of Avenue X South, based on investigation that the license plate did not match to the vehicle.
Police said the vehicle fled and was followed by police’s Air Support Unit to Duck Lake. There, the vehicle stopped and the people inside got into a different vehicle.
The three people were arrested just before 7 p.m. by Saskatchewan RCMP.
According to police, a 30-year-old man was taken to Saskatoon police detention. He has been charged with evading police, dangerous driving and two counts of operating a conveyance while prohibited.
Saskatoon police to target drivers
On Wednesday and Thursday drivers in Saskatoon will be targeted by a Selective Traffic Enforcement Program around the city.
SPS said enforcement would focus on impaired driving, distracted driving, seat belt use, speeding, unlicensed driving/vehicle registration, and vehicle equipment regulations, and drivers could encounter sobriety checkpoints and vehicle inspections.
