Three women were arrested at the scene, including the initial driver, a 21-year-oldfrom Prince Albert. A police dog with Meadow Lake RCMP was used to find the man, who was then arrested.
After searching the vehicle, police said they found and seized around 10 grams of methamphetamine along with drug trafficking paraphernalia.
On top of receiving several traffic tickets, both the man and woman have been charged with flight from peace officer, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
The man was also charged with resisting/obstructing a public officer, while the woman was charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired. Both are scheduled to appear in Meadow Lake Provincial Court on June 29.
