The report informed police that a person was “possibly forcibly confined in a blue SUV that left a business in the Grenfell area.”
Mounties said the vehicle was found in both the Indian Head and then Fort Qu’Appelle detachment areas speeding.
RCMP followed the vehicle until it stopped north of Fort Qu’Appelle. Two people inside, a man and a woman, were arrested by RCMP.
No injuries were reported, according to police.
“Preliminary investigation has determined this incident is not random,” RCMP stated in its release.
