A 48-year-old Saskatoon man is facing a charge of impaired driving after allegedly driving a Dodge Challenger through the fence of a patio at a local business.
According to police, officers were called to the scene of the crash in the 2300 block of Preston Avenue South shortly after midnight on Friday.

“The vehicle was located a short time later driving in the area of Heritage Crescent and Taylor Street East,” the Saskatoon Police Service said in a statement.
“A traffic stop was initiated; however, the vehicle continued to travel at slow speeds before coming to a stop at Brudell Road and Franklin Crescent. Upon speaking with the driver, he was believed to be under the influence of an intoxicant.”
Police said the man is now facing an impaired driving charge.
