Some big acts are set to Rock the River in Saskatoon this summer.
The annual rock festival, now in its 12th year, is set to run from August 14-16 at a new location in Rotary Park, offering fans a scenic setting along the South Saskatchewan River.

The shows will kick off with Limblifter at 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 14, followed by performances by Sloan and Everclear that night.
On Saturday, the Northern Pikes will open the stage at 3:30 p.m. Headstones, Default and Collective Soul will also perform that day.
The final day, on Sunday, will feature hometown rockers Black Tea at 3:30 p.m., followed by Haywire, Starship featuring Mickey Thomas, and a performance by Colin James.
“This event is a true Saskatchewan icon, and we are incredibly proud to stand behind it as it enters a bold new chapter,” Mike Richards, CEO of Shercom Industries – the event’s title sponsor – said in a statement.
“Rock the River brings people together in a way that reflects the very best of our province.”
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday on the Ticketmaster website, with single-day and three-day passes available.
Single-day tickets sell for $99 plus taxes and fees, while weekend passes go for $258, plus taxes and fees.
