Prairie Harm Reduction is also facing serious financial strain due to the high level of services they’re providing. It all paints a picture of a downtown under stress. To discuss this, we’re joined by Shawna Nelson, Executive Director of the Downtown Saskatoon Business Improvement District.

AI is speeding things up in terms of how targets are chosen and how conflicts unfold on the ground. But this speed comes with concerns about ethics and accountability. To break it down, we’re joined by Noah Sylvia, an expert in emerging military technologies with the Royal United Services Institute, a UK-based think tank, who’s been studying how AI is being used in today’s conflicts and what it means for the future of war.
LQ: Does the use of Artificial Intelligence on the battlefield concern you?

But there are still questions about how the program works, what it means for gun owners here in Saskatchewan and what happens if you miss that window. Blaine Beaven, Senior Legal Counsel with the Saskatchewan Firearms Office, joins us to walk us through what people need to know.
LQ: Do you think this policy unfairly targets law-abiding gun owners?

Emily Gustus, Grade 12 student and recipient of prestigious Loran Scholarship, is from Tisdale and has a lot more than just good grades to show for why she’s an excellent candidate for the scholarship. She joins the show to talk about what this achievement means to her and her future.
