A man who managed to escape arrest by running away from an RCMP officer is back in custody again after enjoying nearly a month of freedom.
According to the Saskatchewan RCMP, officers arrested Solomon Custer, 28, after executing a warrant at a home in Pelican Narrows on Feb. 17. Police said Custer was wanted on charges including robbery, assault and breaching court-ordered conditions.

“While Solomon Custer was being escorted to the police vehicle, he ran away from the officer,” the RCMP said in a statement.
The RCMP said Custer was found and arrested in Pelican Narrows on March 10.
