Police in Saskatoon are investigating the city’s second homicide case of 2026.
According to police, officers were called to the 900 block of 22nd Street West at around 12:30 a.m. on Saturday for a report of a shooting.

“Upon arrival, officers located a male suffering from a gunshot wound. The male was transported to hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries,” the Saskatoon Police Service said in a statement.
“The Saskatoon Police Service Major Crime Section is investigating.”
The victim was not identified by police.
The police force asked anyone with information that could help further the investigation to contact police or make an anonymous report through Crime Stoppers.
