The rush to register for swimming lessons and other spring and summer leisure programs in Saskatoon will begin on Sunday evening.
Registration for the City of Saskatoon’s seasonal leisure programs begins at 6 p.m. on Sun, March 15.
Those interested in registering can log into their accounts on Leisure Online or call 306-975-2800.

On Mon, March 16, registration will open only by phone for private and semi-private swim lessons and multi-level family lessons.
The city is reminding residents that opening night for registration “can be quite busy.
“We sincerely appreciate your patience during this time. While additional online and telephone resources are in place to make the process run as smoothly as possible, there will be many people registering at once,” the city cautioned in a release.
Those registering are recommended to have a list of alternation options ready in case a first-choice option is not available.
If a program is full, registrants can join an online wait list, in case new classes are created due to high demand. Other nearby leisure centres may also offer certain programs if a registrant’s preferred location is not available.
The city notes that people hoping to register should ensure they have an active Leisure Online registration account and know their account details ahead of registration night. Anyone unable to access an account is able to call any leisure centre to have their account reset.
Internet Explorer is not available to complete transactions. Up-to-date versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari are web browsers that are compatible with registration. For online transactions, devices or operating systems older than Windows 10, Mac OS 10.14, Android 9 or iPhone 8 are not supported. Visa and MasterCard are accepted forms of online payment, while American Express can be used over the phone and cash and debit cards are accepted in person.
Online registration will result in an additional $1.00-plus-tax convenience fee per program registration.
The spring/summer leisure guide can be picked up at any city leisure facility, Saskatoon public library, or where the Saskatoon StarPhoenix is sold, as well as online.
