Police in Saskatoon are investigating an apparent road rage incident which saw a vehicle rammed and left one person injured.
According to police, officers were called to Witney Avenue North, in the city’s Mt. Royal neighbourhood, just before 10 a.m. on Thursday after getting “multiple reports of altercations between the occupants of two vehicles.”

Police said the reports indicated that one driver was chasing another vehicle before ramming into it on Witney Avenue.
“An occupant then exited the vehicle and began assaulting the driver of the vehicle that had been struck,” the Saskatoon Police Service said in a statement.
“Upon arrival, officers located the victim of the assault suffering from non-life-threatening injuries; the other involved vehicle fled prior to police arrival.”
Police said officers learned that the incident began with “a confrontational exchange” around 22nd Street West and Idylwyld Drive North “before one began chasing the other in their vehicles.”
Multiple parked vehicles were damaged during the pursuit, police added.
“Both parties are believed to have been known to one another and police are continuing to investigate,” the police force said.
