Police said Smith was arrested on Feb. 26 at a home on the First Nation.
He was wanted on charges including two counts of aggravated assault, possession of weapon for a dangerous purpose and wearing a disguise with intent after RCMP said two men were stabbed when four suspects wearing masks broke into a home on the First Nation.
Jordan Stonestand, 34, was also charged over the stabbings and is in custody.
Mounties said during Smith’s arrest officers found he had brass knuckles and he is now facing extra charges including carrying a concealed weapon and unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon.
Smith appeared in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Feb. 27 and is next scheduled to appear on March 5. Stonestand was scheduled to reappear on March 3.
