Police in Prince Albert say that a fatal crash involving a pedestrian in October was not criminal and no charges will be laid.
Officers were called to the area of Highway 2 and Highway 55, just north of the city, at around 4:30 a.m. on Oct. 11 after getting a report that a vehicle had “collided with a pedestrian who was not conscious and not breathing.”

The Prince Albert Police Service said officers and paramedics performed first aid, but the female pedestrian was pronounced dead in hospital after the crash.
“The adult female driver of the vehicle remained on scene,” police said.
According to police, an investigation into the crash determined there was no criminal element.
“The investigation conducted by the Major Crimes Unit (MCU) determined that the collision was non-criminal and there are no charges being laid as a result,” the police force said in a statement.
