A man was reportedly injured in a stabbing that took place in a restaurant and lounge in the city’s Mount Royal neighbourhood Saturday night.
Saskatoon Police Service responded to the report of an injured man in the 2200 block of 22nd Street West at about 12:30 a.m., according the police statement.

“Officers were able to locate the 39-year-old victim at a home in the 200 block Avenue W South, suffering from serious injuries. He was transported to hospital for treatment,” said the police force.
Upon further investigation, police said the victim had been involved in an altercation with other males inside the business.
“Two suspects were seen, one armed with a machete and the other with a firearm,” added the police.
