Two people are dead after a crash on Highway 219 near Grasswood Road early on New Year’s Day.
The City of Saskatoon said in a news release on Jan. 1 that Saskatoon Fire Service was called to the scene of the crash at 3:27 a.m. and found the drivers of both vehicles dead.
Fire crews found that the drivers were the sole occupants in each vehicle and had to use extrication tools to remove them.
Saskatoon Police Service is investigating and no further information was available at the time of publication.
