Six people are facing charges following a two-month investigation into thefts of trailers, landscaping equipment, recreational vehicles, electronics, tools, groceries and more, according to Regina Police Service.
In a statement, the Regina Police Service Property Crimes Unit was “investigating multiple instances of trafficking of stolen property, shoplifting and trailer thefts.” The investigation started in October.

Police said more than $260,000 worth of items, including vehicles, ATVs and trailers, were stolen.
“The suspects were also stealing, trafficking and purchasing stolen items including: groceries, high-end electronics/appliances, clothing and tools,” said the police force.
As a result of the investigation, they found an abandoned farmyard located a few minutes west of Regina, where they found the following items:
- An enclosed trailer with snowmobiles, a snowblower and car parts. The trailer had been reported stolen from an area east of Regina earlier in October 2025;
- A second trailer carrying an ATV, which had also been reported stolen from an area east of Regina earlier in October; and
- A third trailer that had been reported stolen from Regina earlier in October 2025.
On Nov. 7, 2025, the RCMP received a call from a member of the public who had found more stolen items at a second abandoned farm in the same area, west of Regina.
RCMP contacted the Regina Police Service and it was confirmed that the items were part of the same investigation already underway by the RPS.
An enclosed trailer with five snowmobiles, which had been reported stolen from Moose Jaw in late October 2025, was seized from the abandoned farm.
On Nov. 13, 2025, RCMP were once again called to the same area, west of Regina.
“The caller stated there was someone driving a truck pulling a skid-steer on a trailer, as well as a second vehicle, a rented cube van, on the property,” said police in a statement.
Police investigated further and recovered a trailer and skid steer, which had been reported stolen earlier that day from the 2000 block of McDonald Street.
After several weeks of investigating, police issued multiple search warrants, including cell phone searches, and many other investigative tactics, resulting in six people being charged.
