The man lost control and crashed his vehicle into a power pole near the First Nation and police were called after they say he then attempted to steal three other uninvolved vehicles while armed with a firearm.
Police said one of the vehicles left the road and entered a slough after its driver fought back.
The driver of another vehicle jumped out after police said he shot into the air and the man then drove off. The vehicle was later located abandoned in Prince Albert.
Police said the man may be injured as a result of the initial collision with the power pole and is believed to have a tattoo on his face.
Prince Albert RCMP ask anyone with information about this incident, or about a man who was injured on the afternoon of Nov. 7 to call Saskatchewan RCMP at 310-RCMP, their local police service or to inform Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or at saskcrimestoppers.com.
Prince Albert RCMP is investigating with the help of the Forensic Identification Section.
