Blue Jays fans in Saskatchewan were in high spirits as Toronto tied up the World Series 2-2 on Tuesday night.
A strong contingent showed up at the Canadian Brewhouse in Regina’s Harbour Landing to watch the Blue Jays bounce back after their Game 3 loss. There were plenty of cheers this time around, as Toronto beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 6-2 in Game 4.

“The energy was ecstatic,” said Tutu Daldum.
“That seventh inning was electric, I just love to see it.”
Daldum’s friend Colby Halliday agreed.
“Such a great experience. I thought it was going to be really tight at the end, but no – we could put it away,” Halliday said.
The pair said it’s been a very entertaining series so far.
“It’s just been going back and forth these last four games, and hopefully we can bring it home in the next two,” Halliday said.
Daldum said a World Series victory for Toronto would mean a lot to fans across the country.
“I feel like it’d be a big cultural heritage moment, just being able to come together as a nation and celebrate the win,” he said.
Adria Stanhope was glad to see the Jays win on Tuesday, but was especially happy the game didn’t last 18 innings, like Game 3 on Monday.
With Game 5 scheduled for Wednesday night in L.A., Brooke Roeges said this win was pivotal, because it secured home-field advantage for Toronto in Game 6.
Roeges said she was impressed by the performance from Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr., who hit his seventh home run of the post-season on Tuesday.
“I think today he really showed up,” Roeges said.
“We have hitters on this team, and I think that’s what’s going to carry us through.”
As a lifelong fan, Roeges said she’s happy to see Toronto back in the World Series for the first time since the ‘90s.
“I think that this program deserves the win,” she said.
“I think that they’ve been grinding since the start, they’re coming back from behind, and they’re just a really gritty team and I think that that’s going to carry them through.”
Jordan Trotter has been a fan of the Blue Jays since he was six years old. He said he has fond memories of the 1993 team, and is highly encouraged by the current team’s success.
“This win is amazing. I can’t get over it,” Trotter said.
“The Blue Jays are tied 2-2, and I am absolutely stoked about it. You come up against a juggernaut like the Los Angeles Dodgers and you’re tied 2-2 in the World Series right now – it’s a good place to be.”
Trotter said he’s sure Toronto will go on to win it all.
