A Saskatoon man who allegedly pointed an imitation handgun at another man now faces a charge for possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace.
Police arrested the 21-year-old Saskatoon man at a hotel in the 100 block of Circle Drive after a gun-pointing incident was reported at around 12:40 a.m. on Monday.

“It had been reported that a male had pointed a handgun at another man,” police said in a statement.
“Upon arrival officers located the suspect and an imitation handgun.”
No injuries were reported.
The 21-year-old man was released from custody ahead of a future court date, police said.
Two teens arrested after robbery and assault of girl
Two girls were arrested after allegedly assaulting another girl on Saturday night in Kinsmen Park.
Police said a witness reported the incident in the evening. When officers arrived, they found two suspects who fit the description given by the caller.
“The 17-year-old victim was located in the 500 block of 25th Street East and transported to hospital with what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries,” police said.
As a result, a 16-year-old girl is facing charges of robbery and breaching court conditions, while a 17-year-old girl was charged with robbery.
