A 54-year-old Swift Current man is facing a murder charge in connection with the death of 29-year-old Matthew Neufeld in August.
According to the RCMP, officers were called to a home on First Avenue NW in Swift Current just after 1 a.m. on August 8 for a report of an injured man. At the scene, police found Neufeld, who was later declared dead in hospital.

Police quickly declared the death suspicious, and Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes took charge of the investigation.
Police said 54-year-old Christopher Sean Foster, a resident of Swift Current, was arrested in the city on Wednesday.
He’s expected to appear in provincial court in Regina on Friday morning.
