Humboldt RCMP has released information about a fatal collision that occurred at the intersection of Highway 16 and Highway 20, just east of Lanigan on Friday.
Police said officers were called to the scene on Oct. 3 around 7:30 pm. along with local fire and EMS.

They said an investigation determined an SUV and tractor-trailer unit collided. A passenger in the SUV was declared dead by paramedics at the scene. He has been identified as an adult male who is citizen of another country, and his family has been notified.
RCMP said it is not providing additional details about the dead man.
The driver and two additional passengers were in the SUV at the time of the collision. They were taken to hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
The lone adult male driver in the tractor-trailer unit did not report any injuries to police.
Highway 16 was temporarily closed but has since been re-opened.
Humboldt RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
