“Police attended and learned two persons had broken into the victim’s residence in the 200 block of Avenue V South, and stabbed the 56-year-old man before fleeing with his phone,” the Saskatoon Police Service explained in a statement.
The second incident saw police called to a local hospital once again at around 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday where they met the 53-year-old victim. Police said he reported being bear sprayed and stabbed behind a convenience store on Avenue W South.
Police were called once again just after 9 p.m. on Tuesday when a 51-year-old man arrived at a local hospital seeking treatment for a stab wound.
“Further investigation determined the incident is alleged to have happened at approximately 1 a.m., Sept. 30, 2025, at 22nd Street West and Confederation Drive,” the police force said.
At around 1 a.m. on Wednesday, police were called to a disturbance in the 100 block of Avenue O South, where they found a woman who had been stabbed. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment, police said, but the suspects had already fled by the time the officers arrived.
About two hours later, police were called to the 600 block of Idylwyld for a report of an injured person. When they arrived, they found a 21-year-old man suffering from stab wounds. Police said he was transported to a local hospital by paramedics, and was in “stable condition.”
Anyone with information on any of the five stabbings was encouraged to contact the Saskatoon Police Service or make an anonymous report through Crime Stoppers.
