Just over two hours after the RCMP called a dangerous person alert for Big River First Nation, it has been cancelled.
RCMP arrested the suspect on the First Nation and called off the alert just before 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

“There is not believed to be a heightened risk to public safety at this time. Should that change, we will notify the public immediately,” RCMP said in a statement.
The investigation remains ongoing.
The initial alert came out just after 4 p.m. for Big River First Nation and the surrounding area.
It was reported that the suspect had a gun on the First Nation.
The affected area includes communities like Christopher Lake, Meadow Lake, Prince Albert National Park and Sturgeon Lake.
