A 31-year-old man was arrested Monday after the Chevrolet Malibu he was driving was stopped by tire deflation devices after the plane tracked the vehicle, and officers investigate a Sunday stabbing.

"If there is an overpopulation of gophers, they can clean off acres (of crops) in virtually days," said Bill Huber. Farmers from all over the province are calling SARM for help to remove the critters.

"In 2021 and 2023, this same initiative was successfully implemented, resulting in over half a million acres of additional low yield crop redirected to feed," said Agriculture Minister Daryl Harrison.
