According to police, officers spotted “a vehicle that had fled from police multiple times the week prior” at around 10 a.m. and attempted a traffic stop at the corner of Confederation Drive and Massey Drive.
The driver fled from the traffic stop, police said, and officers used a tire-deflation device to puncture the vehicle’s tires before the chase came to an end at 31st Street West and Avenue F North.
The driver is now facing charges including dangerous driving, evading police, impersonation and breaching court-ordered conditions.
