Warm October weather has prompted the City of Saskatoon to extend the season at two of its golf courses, but only by a single day.
According to the city, the closing dates for the Wildwood Golf Course and the Holiday Park Championship 18 have been pushed back to Monday.

“Whether it is a final full round, one last chance to settle a friendly score, or simply an excuse to enjoy the crisp fall air, golfers are encouraged to take advantage of the bonus day before the courses close for the season,” the city said in a statement.
“Tee time bookings for Monday, October 19 will open on Friday, October 16 at 8:00 a.m.”
While the closing dates for the two courses have been extended, the city noted that the Executive 9 at Holiday Park has already closed for the season, though the driving range will remain open until Oct. 25. Silverwood Golf Course will close for the season on Sunday as planned, the city said, though its driving range will also remain open until Oct. 25.
“Holiday Park Golf Course pro shop will remain open throughout the winter season for Club 6 pack, gift card and season pass purchases during regular business hours, Monday to Friday,” the city added.
The courses in Saskatoon aren’t the only ones extending their seasons.
The Deer Valley Golf Club, northwest of Regina, is open to golfers on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
