Cut Knife RCMP are asking the public to help locate a 19-year-old man wanted in connection with an attempted vehicle theft involving a firearm on Poundmaker Cree Nation.
Jeremiah Sokwaypnace is facing nine charges, including robbery with a weapon and multiple firearms offences, following an incident early Friday morning.

Police said in a news release on Oct. 10 they received a report of an attempted vehicle theft at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Oct. 9.
According to investigators, an armed man approached an occupied truck and attempted to steal it.
The driver, who was alone in the vehicle, managed to drive off in the truck while the suspect ran away on foot. The victim did not report any physical injuries.
Following an investigation, RCMP charged Sokwaypnace with robbery with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, unauthorized possession of a firearm and knowingly possessing a firearm without authorization.
He also faces two counts of possessing weapons or firearms contrary to a court order, two counts of failing to comply with a probation order and one count of possessing a firearm in a motor vehicle.
Sokwaypnace is described as 5-foot-9, weighs approximately 170 lb, with brown eyes, short brown hair and a tattoo on his left hand.
Police say he may be driving a black Dodge 1500 truck.
He is known to travel between Cut Knife, North Battleford and Lloydminster, Alta.
RCMP warn that Sokwaypnace may be armed and is considered dangerous and should not be approached, adding they will notify the public if an imminent risk to public safety is identified.
