A 23-year-old woman from Sandy Bay was killed in a crash south of Prince Albert on Sunday evening.
According to the Saskatchewan RCMP, officers got a report about a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on Highway 2, about a kilometre south of the city, shortly after 7 p.m.

The pedestrian was declared dead at the scene, the Mounties said, and her family has been notified.
“The driver of the vehicle remained on scene. The driver and passenger in the vehicle reported no physical injuries to police,” the RCMP said in a statement.
“Prince Albert RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.”
