The recent uptick in collisions involving vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists in Regina doesn’t appear to be slowing down.
Three more incidents were reported to the Regina Police Service in the 24 hours between Wednesday afternoon and Thursday afternoon.

According to police, just before 8 a.m. Thursday, police were called to the intersection of 7th Avenue and Albert Street after a female pedestrian was reportedly struck by a vehicle. The victim was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation into the collision is ongoing.
A collision between a cyclist and a vehicle near McCarthy Boulevard and Read Avenue was reported to police Wednesday afternoon. The cyclist sustained minor injuries but was not taken to hospital, police said.
Later that afternoon, police attended another collision involving a cyclist and a vehicle near Quance Street East and Coleman Street. The cyclist was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation into the collision is ongoing.
According to police, there were 10 crashes involving vehicles and pedestrians, cyclists or e-bike riders during the 10 days leading up to Wednesday, resulting in one fatality and multiple injuries.
