A 42-year-old Regina man found himself in handcuffs Monday after allegedly fleeing from the Mounties in a stolen truck.
According to the Saskatchewan RCMP, officers got a report of a fuel theft from a business in Raymore, north of Regina, at about 4:30 p.m.

While the suspect had already fled, police said officers found him in a truck on the Kawacatoose First Nation a short time later. Officers determined that the truck had been stolen from the RM of Mount Hope on Sunday.
But when police tried to make a traffic stop, the driver allegedly took off.
A tire-deflation device was used by police at the intersection of Highway 15 and Township Road 270A to bring the chase to an end, the RCMP said, and police arrested the driver without incident.
The 42-year-old man is now facing charges of flight from a police officer, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and two counts of failing to comply with conditions of a release order.
The man was also wanted on warrants for charges including motor vehicle theft and theft under $5,000 in relation to an investigation from earlier this month, the Mounties added.
He was scheduled to appear before a judge in Punnichy on Tuesday.
