A 38-year-old Martensville man is facing child exploitation charges for the second time.
On Thursday, the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) served a search warrant at the man’s home, seizing electronic devices in the process, according to a Saskatoon Police Service statement.

The man is charged with two counts of possession of child abuse and exploitation material, one count of making child abuse and exploitation material available and one count of breach of an order of probation.
The man previously faced similar charges in January 2024 and was imprisoned for those offences until May 2026.
The man appeared in court for his most recent charges on Friday and is scheduled to appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court on Tuesday.
According to the statement, the ICE unit “is comprised of investigators from the Saskatchewan RCMP, Regina Police Service and Saskatoon Police Service. Their mandate is to investigate crimes involving Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Material.”
