A lengthy list of major roads in Saskatoon will have closures and restrictions in place on Thursday and Friday, according to the City of Saskatoon.
The road closures in effect from Sept. 10-11 will result in detour signs put in place to guide motorists. The city is thanking drivers for their patience, in advance.

Brighton Gate will be closed between Cowessess Road and Westfield Road for crack sealing on Thursday, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
A crane lift will close 5th Avenue North between 24th Street East and 25th St. East. This closure will take place on both Sept. 10 and 11, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.
On Idylwyld Drive, overnight road resurfacing will take place from the northbound ramp to Avenue C North and 51st Street East from 7 p.m. through 7 a.m. on both Thursday and Friday.
The road resurfacing work will stretch from 47th St. W to Faithful Avenue and the 51st St. E intersection, according to further information shared on Wednesday by the city.
Spadina Crescent from 22nd St. E and 23rd St. E will close on Friday from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. for the Colliers Cup Charity Street Hockey Tournament.
Also closed on Friday will be 2nd Ave North between 23rd St. E and 24th St. E for road work, starting at 9 a.m. and ending around 5 p.m.
The city said Saskatoon Transit might be impacted by the closures and end times could vary, depending on weather and unforeseen circumstances.
