Early Thursday morning, the Saskatoon Police Service responded to a report of a shooting in the 200 block of Avenue V South.
Police said they discovered a gun had been fired into a residence from outside. A woman inside the house was injured by broken glass. She was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Woman assaulted in Buena Vista
A woman was taken to hospital after being assaulted early Thursday morning.
Police said they were called to a residence in the 200 block of 3rd Street East. They learned the woman had been assaulted by a group of people who fled before police arrived.
The victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Both incidents are being investigated by members of the Serious Assault Unit. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Saskatoon Police Service or Saskatoon Crime Stoppers.
Driver collides with building
Saskatoon police say “driver error” is believed to have caused a man to drive into a building Thursday afternoon.
Police were called to a business in the 1700 block of Preston Avenue South just after 2 p.m. They say an 84-year-old man drove a Volvo XC60 into the front wall of the building.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
