A crash on Highway 7 left an Alberta man dead on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Saskatchewan RCMP, officers were alerted to the crash just a few kilometres west of Marengo shortly before 4:30 p.m.

“Investigation determined a pick-up truck and a semi truck collided,” the RCMP said in a statement.
“The driver of the pick-up truck was declared deceased by EMS at the scene. He has been identified as a 63-year-old male from Sylvan Lake, AB. His family has been notified.”
The semi driver didn’t report any injuries, police said.
The crash remains under investigation, the RCMP said, with help from a collision reconstruction expert.
RCMP arrest man in Humboldt
Humboldt RCMP were called Tuesday morning, around 10:40 a.m., about a robbery with a firearm at a business in Watson.
According to RCMP, the suspect went into the business, pointed a firearm at two employees, and stole cash.
The suspect did not discharge the firearm before leaving in a vehicle. Police said no physical injuries were reported, and officers found the firearm at the business.
Later Tuesday morning, police arrested a 57-year-old man from Lakeview in Wadena.
He’s facing six charges, including careless use of a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and pointing a firearm.
