Drivers in Saskatoon may need to take a couple of detours on Sunday and Monday as a number of high-traffic roads will close to make way for construction projects.
According to the City of Saskatoon, the eastbound ramp connecting Idywyld Drive North to 51st Street will be closed for road work between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Sunday.

Then, on Sunday evening, the northbound ramp from Circle Drive West to 44th Street East will be closed for road paving. That closure begins at 7 p.m. on Sunday and runs until 7 a.m. on Monday.
On Monday morning, the city said McClocklin Road will be closed from Denham Close to Hampton Gate South for road work. That closure runs from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
“Closure end times are weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances,” the city said in a statement.
The city noted that Saskatoon Transit routes may be affected by the road closures, and riders were encouraged to check service alerts and third-party apps for the latest updates.
