A man’s leg was amputated after an incident involving a grain auger at a grain terminal just southeast of Regina.
Paul Fischer, Kronau’s fire chief, told 980 CJME that firefighters responded to a conveyor entrapment at the Lajord Inland Terminal at around 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday.

The Kronau Fire Department said the man had to have his leg removed in an emergency field amputation, and he was then airlifted to hospital by a STARS helicopter.
Firefighters were on the scene for more than three hours on Wednesday, the fire department added.
