Saskatoon police responded to a three-vehicle collision at Preston Avenue South and Seventh Street East on Thursday afternoon.
According to police, one man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The intersection was temporarily closed and traffic restrictions were in place in the area, but the restrictions have since been lifted.
Using collision data from SGI and population estimates from Statistics Canada, Saskatoon had the highest collision rate per 1,000 people between 2020 and 2024, compared with six other Saskatchewan cities: Regina, Prince Albert, Moose Jaw, Yorkton, Swift Current and North Battleford.
Preston Avenue is home to two of the three intersections with the highest collision rates in the city. Circle Drive and Preston Avenue had an average of 38 collisions per year between 2020 and 2024, while College Drive and Preston Avenue had an average of 37 collisions per year during the same period.
