Drivers in Saskatoon may need to take a detour or two during their commutes on Friday.
The City of Saskatoon said construction projects mean parts of Taylor Street West, Taylor Street East and 33rd Street West will be closed throughout much of the day.

The city said Taylor Street West will be closed between Belfast and Lorne avenues for the installation of a temporary water line, with the closure expected to run from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Taylor Street East, meanwhile, will be closed between Dufferin and Lansdowne avenues for road patching work, with that closure scheduled to last from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The closure on 33rd Street West will stretch from Junor Avenue to Catherwood Avenue while road patching work is completed, the city added, with the closure running from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
“Closure end times are weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances,” the city noted.
The city added that Saskatoon Transit routes may be affected by the closures, and encouraged riders to check service alerts and third-party apps for the latest updates.
