Swift Current RCMP arrested two people — a 26 year old and a 32 year old — at a home on 11 Avenue Southeast Tuesday as part of a drug trafficking investigation.
A search of the home led to the discovery of 10 grams of methamphetamine, as well as drug trafficking paraphernalia, according to the Saskatchewan RCMP.

A third suspect — who had been seen by police driving while prohibited earlier in the day — was arrested in an alley near Two Avenue Southeast and Central Avenue, along with two other people.
The 26 year old and 32 year old were each charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. The 26 year old was also charged with operating a vehicle while prohibited.
They appeared in Swift Current provincial court Wednesday. Three other people who were also arrested were released without being charged.
Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP arrest man for serious assault
RCMP responded to a report of an assault on Muscowpetung Saulteaux Nation early on Wednesday morning.
In a release, RCMP said one man assaulted another man and then ran away.
The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries by STARS Air Ambulance. Officers arrested the male suspect shortly afterward.
