Most people aren’t quite ready to start thinking about the seasons changing and the leaves falling. But if you’re interested in getting a jump on autumn activities, the City of Saskatoon’s Fall Leisure Guide is now available.
The city said there are several classes for teens in this year’s guide, including a youth dryland training club, a program letting residents learn to play pickleball and sports team training.

For the youngest members of the household, the guide includes public parent-and-tot skating at indoor rinks and the Drop N’ Shop program for children ages six to 12.
For adults, there are registered and drop-in fitness programs, as well as community association activities and programs.
There are also personal and small-group training programs for youths, adults and people over 50.
Swimming lessons are available for all ages. Registration for private and semi-private swim lessons, as well as multi-level lessons for families, begins Aug. 17, and must be completed by phone by calling the leisure centre directly.
The Fall Leisure Guide is available online, and printed copies can be found at any city leisure facility or library.
Registration for fall programs begins Aug. 16 at 6 p.m. and is available online or by phone. More information about preparing for registration is available on the city’s website.
