A precautionary drinking water advisory has been lifted for the Village of Pleasantdale, located 36 kilometres south of Melfort.
The advisory was originally issued on July 15 for community residents and any individuals who may access the water from its system.
A news release from SaskAlert declared the water in the community is safe to drink.

As noted in the original advisory, there are several steps that should be taken when a drinking water advisory is issued. Drinking water should be boiled for at least one minute before use, as should water used for washing fruits and vegetables and for brushing teeth.
An alternative water source that is known to be safe, such as bottled water can also be used when an advisory is issued.
