By Sunday morning, power had been restored to a majority of customers in north central Saskatchewan including Prince Albert, La Ronge, Candle Lake and surrounding rural areas, but Tisdale, Nipawin, and the Carrot River area remained without power.

SaskPower said due to safety reasons crews stopped work on Saturday night and would continue to work on repairs in Kinistino on Sunday morning.
