A 62-year-old man has died following a two-vehicle collision on Highway 40 near Battleford Saturday night.
Battlefords RCMP said in a news release on July 12 that officers received a report of the crash around 5:15 p.m. on July 11.
Police said investigation determined two motorcycles collided. EMS and local fire attended the scene. The 62-year-old rider from North Battleford was declared dead en route to hospital, and his family has been notified.
The second rider was taken to hospital with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening in nature. Neither rider had any passengers.
Battlefords RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
