Jeff Mitchell, manager of the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park & Zoo, said the new course is a great way to get active outdoors, try something new and enjoy the park.
“We’re excited to add disc golf to the experiences available at the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park,” Mitchell said in the release. “We invite everyone to come out and give the course a try.”
All skill levels are welcome to bring their discs and use the course during a visit to the park.
The course, according to the city’s release, starts east of the park’s fishing pond and is available for use on a first-come, first-served basis.
No reservations are required to use the course, which is open during park hours from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. The course is free to use, but the park has a $5 parking fee.
