A number of major roadways in Saskatoon will see closures on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
According to the city, Acadia Drive will be closed from Highbury Court to Highland Crescent on Saturday to accommodate road patching work, with the closure expected to run from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

On Idylwyld Drive South, the northbound lanes will be closed from the westbound ramp of Circle Drive East on Saturday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. for road patching.
The northbound off ramp of Circle Drive West will be briefly closed up to 22nd Street West for streetlight maintenance on Sunday, with the work expected to run from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.
Also on Sunday, 20th Street West will be closed between Ottawa and Montreal avenues to allow for water main work. That closure is set to begin at 8 a.m. and run until 5 p.m.
Finally, the city said Second Avenue South will be closed between Saunders Place and 19th Street East from Monday through Friday for a crane lift, with the closure running from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
“Closure end times are weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances,” the city noted in a statement.
“Detour signs will be in place to guide motorists around the areas. The City thanks everyone for their patience.”
The city noted that Saskatoon Transit routes may be affected by the detours, and advised riders to check third-party apps like Google Maps Transit for the latest transit alerts.
Attridge Drive resurfacing runs from Sunday through Thursday
The city said various traffic restrictions will be in place on Attridge Drive between Sunday and Thursday to allow the road to be resurfaced.
Overnight closures will run from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night, and the city noted that access to the Forestry Farm Park & Zoo from Attridge will be closed during the day on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The eastbound lanes from Nelson to Rever roads will be closed overnight on Sunday and Monday, with two-way traffic maintained in the westbound lanes. That will switch on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, with the westbound lanes closed and two-way traffic in the opposite lanes.
“Each closure is expected to last up to 11 hours, weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances,” the city said.
