Pelican Narrows RCMP have arrested and charged two people after seizing firearms, drugs, and trafficking paraphernalia at a Pelican Narrows home.
After police received a call on June 30 saying someone was being forcibly confined in a home, officers said the person had been assaulted by a man, reported non-life threatening injuries and that he had been prevented from leaving.

Officers said they found two firearms, an imitation firearm, about 40 grams of crystal meth, a small amount of fentanyl, cash, and trafficking paraphernalia.
Police made arrests on a 36-year-old man, who allegedly assaulted police and tried to flee during his arrest, and a 32-year-old woman. Both were from Pelican Narrows.
The pair have both been charged with possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking, possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of careless storage of a firearm, two counts of unsafe storage of a firearm, two counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, two counts of carrying a concealed weapon, two counts of possession of a firearm without a licence, possession of a prohibited weapon with ammunition, possession of the proceeds of crime under $5,000, and
two counts of removing a serial number on a firearm.
The man is also charged with assault, unlawful confinement, assaulting a peace officer, resisting a peace officer, possession of a firearm knowing its possession in unauthorized, and three counts of possession of a firearm while prohibited.
The pair made their first court appearance in Prince Albert on Thursday.
